For its production Astro s.r.l. uses various types of raw materials, according to the customer’s requirements.

Wood: the essences used are Ayous, Toulipier, Ramino, Koto.

Wood sub-products: MDF (medium density fireboard), joint veneer wood (Deal, Lime, Toulipier).

Face veneer: the essences used are the American Cherry, European Cherry, European Oak, National Walnut, Canaletto Walnut, Ash, Toulipier, Tanganika, Maple, Ayous, Teak, Bamboo, Zebrano ,Wenge.

Decorative papers: the paper used can be “finish” (prepreg decorative paper) or “varnishable superflex”(paper to varnish after coating). On the market there are decorative products of all lacquered and metallized essences. In this case the decorative paper is purchased according to the customer’s demand following a code card (we use the same card the customer uses for his panelling).

A high qualified staff undergo all raw materials used in the production to careful tests so to obtain high quality items.

Raw materials are selected according to the end product we want to obtain: lacquered wood, lacquered veneered wood, lacquered MDF, MDF coated with decorative paper, veneered and lacquered MDF, lacquered joint veneered wood. The finishes of the elements are personalized and studied according to customers needs.
